Using Circles to Construct a Right Triangle
Technology has progressively been becoming an empowering role of this century. Cellphones, computers, etc. are at our use for every possible thing you could think of. Since technology has such potential in becoming a helpful hand, we can add it into our classroom lessons and activities. Programs such as GeoGebra and/or Mathematica can show students how math can be done using technology. For this lesson, students can use circles to discover how to create a right triangle. They can make segments, points on a center, angles, find lengths, and so on, all throughout this lesson. A worksheet for the lesson is available in the link below.
